About
I’m a British-Italian journalist who writes about media, press and internet freedom, and politics. I’m currently a social media content editor at the Telegraph and sit on the Board of Directors at Global Voices Online.
From 2011 to 2013 I worked at Index on Censorship, where I covered the Leveson Inquiry into press standards and other media and free expression stories. I lived in Shanghai, China, from 2009 to 2011, and contributed to Shanghaiist, Shanghai Daily, The China Beat and the China Economic Review. I speak Italian and am trying not to forget Portuguese and Mandarin Chinese.
Loves include cycling, running, baking, restaurant hopping, music hunting and Arsenal. Not a big fan of Spurs.
